There are two routes to admission into the PhD programme: (1) The MPhil/PhD route: (see M.Phil in International Trade and Development) (2) The Direct PhD route: (see JNU admission rules for eligibility requirements) Admission for direct PhD is based on a detailed evaluation of the research proposal submitted by the applicant followed by an interview. Foreign students may apply for direct PhD admission as per JNU guidelines. (International Students) The Centre provides an excellent research environment in a wide range of research areas. Some of our former PhDs are holding positions of great responsibility in the Government (Ministries of Commerce and Finance, RBI) and in international organisations (UNIDO, World Bank). |
