“Workshop on Development of Concept in Modern Biology”

Applications were invited from College/University teachers for participating in a Workshop on “Development of Concepts in Modern Biology”. The Workshop was aimed towards enhancing knowledge in selected areas of Modern Biology and to help the participants in developing independent research aptitudes. The workshop would include an in-depth review of current status of various facets of modern biology and “interaction based training” on developing research projects including writing grant applications. The workshop held from December 13-16th, 2010 at the School of Life Sciences under the auspicious of “UGC Networking Resource Centre”.

which held on December 14-16, 2009 at
School of Life Sciences, JNU.
Workshop on Modern Biology and Development of Research Programme for College/University Teachers. Application were invited from College and University Teachers for a “Workshop on Modern Biology”. The Workshop was aimed towards enhancing knowledge of Modern Biology and to help the participants in developing independent Research Programmes. The Workshop included an in-depth review of current status of various facets of Modern Biology and hands-on training on developing research projects including generating funding for research. The Workshop held from December 14-16, 2009 under the auspices of the UGC Resource Network Programme.
Twenty participants were selected with a due consideration for regional representation. Teachers currently working in under privileged states/regions were encouraged to apply.
