16th IAMG annual conference is planned to be held in the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. JNU is situated in the southern part of Delhi.
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) started on the visionary perception of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. JNU campus is a microcosm of the Indian Nation, drawing students from every nook and corner of the country and also 10% annual intake of overseas students. The campus covers a lush green (part of it host dense forests) area of around 60 ha and is a paradise birdwatcher's of wildlife. JNU is mainly a research oriented postgraduate university and has a student strength of approximately 7,500 and faculty strength of around 600.
The conference will take place in the Convention Center of Jawaharlal Nehru University. It is situated in a Aravali hill ranges with a beautiful picturesque environment, ensures perfect parking possibilities and is able to home events and conferences with even more than 700 participants. The university building equipped with the latest technological equipment is appropriate for organizing events large in number, conferences, national and international congresses of high standard, exhitions, banquets etc. There are sufficient small meeting rooms in the Convention Centre for parallel sessions. At the time of the conference the average temperature is likely to be around 20ºC (about 68ºF).
Workshops and short courses will make use of the numerous teaching facilities provided by the schools and centers of JNU.
