Experimental Condensed Matter Physics

We work in the field of experimental condensed matter physics. Our research interest mainly includes exploring the phenomena at low temperature and high magnetic field. Of particular interest are magnetic and superconducting materials in form of bulk, thin films and nanosized systems. Our current focuses are on materials like transition metal oxides and intermetallic compounds, and also search for new materials. While the investigation of Magnetic phase and its transition, Electron and thermal transport, Thermodynamic properties, Temperature dependent structural investigation, Superconducting properties and vortex dynamics, Dielectric effect, Magneto- and electro-caloric effect are regular part of our study, we are also interested about surface properties using scanning probe microscope.
