Dr Negi has been a part of the Centre faculty since April 2004. She holds a Masters Degree in Political Science from the University of Delhi and a Ph.D. Degree in International Law from the Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her thesis dealt with the interface between environmental issues and international trade rules as embodied in the World Trade Organization. She has been contributing to the teaching programme at CIPOD since 2002, offering M.Phil. courses in International Organization. Dr Negi currently teaches two M.Phil. courses – International Economic and Financial Organizations and International Regional Organizations.

 

Outside of JNU, Dr Negi lectures at various institutions such as the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), the Indian Society of International Law (ISIL), the Indian Law Institute (ILI), the World Wide Fund for Nature – India (WWF-India), etc. She has presented academic papers in several seminars and conferences.
