Uma Singh (Ph.D., JNU)

Dr Singh is a Professor in the Pakistani Studies of the South Asian Studies Division of the School of International Studies. She joined the School as Assistant Professor in 1978. She is the author of the book “Muslims and Indian Nationalism 1928-40: Emergence of the Demand for India’s Partition” and has co-edited a book on “Pakistan’s transition to Democracy: The Benazir Era” along with Prof. Kalim Bahadur.
