Professor P. S. Ramakrishnan, INSA Honorary Senior Scientist, School of Environmental Sciences was part of the Noble Peace Prize winning environmental team. He contributed a paper ”Coping with Environmental Uncertainties to Climate Change from a developing country socio-ecological system perspective”, to the Report on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which was be Prize for 2007.

Mr. Ajay Kumar, Research Scholar, Centre for the Study of Regional Development, School of Social Sciences, has been granted ”Sat Paul Mittal Fellowship” in Population Studies.

Mr. Ankur Sharma, Research Scholar, School of Life Sciences, has been awarded a fellowship by ”Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation” to attend and present his work at the Gordon Research Conference on ”Host-Parasite Interactions”, at Salve Regina University, Newport, USA.

Mr. Lokesh Kumar Gupta, Research Scholar, Centre for Indian Languages, School of Languages Literature and Culture Studies, has been awarded a ”Special Fellowship” for the year 2008.

Mr. Subash Ranjan Nayak, Research Scholar, Centre for the Study of Social Systems, School of Social Sciences, has been awarded a ”Special Fellowship” for the year 2007.
