NEW APPOINTMENTS

Dr. Seema Bathla joined as Associate Professor in the Centre for Study of Regional Development; Dr. Arvind Kumar Mishra in Zakir Husain Centre for Educational Studies, School of Social Sciences; Dr. Rakesh Kumar in the Centre for Chinese and South-East Asian Studies; and Dr. Dhananjay Singh in the Centre for English Studies, School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies as Assistant Professors.

Dr. G. Venkateshwara Prasad (G J V Prasad), Centre for English Studies, Dr. Franson D. Manjali, Centre for Linguistics, School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies and Dr. H.S. Shiva Prakash, School of Arts and Aesthetics were promoted as Professors. Dr. Sadhna Naithani, Centre for German Studies and Dr. Devendra Kumar Choubey, Centre for Indian Languages, School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies were promoted as Associate Professors.

DEANS / CHAIRPERSONS

Prof. Rupamanjari Ghosh has been appointed as Dean, School of Physical Sciences. We also have two new Chairpersons: Prof. Akhtar Mahdi in Centre for Persian and Central Asian Studies, and Prof. N. Kamala in Centre for French and Francophone Studies, School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies.

In the Administration, Dr. R. Venkatesan joined as Veterinary Officer, Sh. S. Dharam Pal as Mess Helper, and Smt. Ratni Devi as Safaikaramchari.

RESIGNATIONS / RETIREMENTS

Prof. Manmohan Agarwal, Centre for International Trade and Development, School of International Studies, and Ms. Rebekah Adeline Tham, Assistant Professor, Centre of German Studies, School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies resigned from the services of the University.
