Dr. Mohammad Sidiq Niazmand has joined as Professor in the Centre for Persian and Central Asian Studies and Dr. Moinuddin A. Jinabade in the Centre for Indian Languages; Dr. Richa Sawant as Associate Professor in the Centre for Russian Studies; Dr. Syed Akhtar Husain in the Centre for Persian & Central Asian Studies, School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies. Dr. Arun Kumar Srivastava has joined as Assistant Professor in the School of Environmental Sciences; Dr. Tadepalli Dora Babu in the Group of Adult Education; Dr. Amir Ali in the Centre for Political Studies, School of Social Sciences and Sh. Ashutosh Anand, Centre of Russian Studies, School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies.

Prof. Harjit Singh has been appointed as Dean, School of Social Sciences. We have three new Chairpersons. Dr. Sucheta Mahajan in the Centre for Historical Studies, Prof. Tiplut Nongbri in the Centre for the Study of Social Systems, School of Social Sciences and Dr. Gurbachan Singh in the Centre for International Trade and Development, School of International Studies.

In Administration, Sh. R. Venkatesan, joined as Veterinary Officer; Ms. Kanchan Tirkey as Stenographer; Sh. Ram Kumar, Sh. Satbir as Safai Karamchari and Smt. Pratima Choubey and Sh. Ram Sukh as Office Attendants.
