Every year, a part of the M.A. Course on Method in Social Sciences, the student of the Centre (80 students of M.A. IV Semester accompanied by the faculty members) go on a field trip. This gives them an opportunity to learn the challenges of conducting empirical research. It also gives them limited experience of going to a new, relatively less familiar area, and interacting with the local population both in the rural area as well as the urban landscape. Students conduct interviews, administer questionnaires designed by them as well as produce a short observation report.
