Sealed item rate quotations are invited by Executive Engineer(E) from manufacturers/authorized dealers/specialized agencies in the field of air-conditioning to be received on 29/05/2013 at 3 PM in Room No. 141 of Administration Building, JNU and shall be opened at 3:30 PM on the same day.

Name of work: Supply and installation of split air-conditioners for Room no. 243 and 32, Admn. Block.

Conditions:-

1. The quotation for the work shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of opening of quotations. The JNU shall, without prejudice to any other right or remedy, be at liberty to forfeit 50% of the earnest money if any quotationer withdraws his quotation before that date or makes any modification in the terms and conditions of the quotation which are not acceptable to the department, and to forfeit the whole of the earnest money if the quotationer, whose quotation is accepted, fails to commence the work specified in the NIQ in the prescribed time or abandons the work before its completion.
2. The work shall be carried out as per specifications defined in the NIQ .
3. Income Tax shall be deducted as per rules applicable.
4. The contractor shall have to supply the material and installed at site of JNU campus.
5. Earnest money amounting to Rs.1649/- should be deposited in the shape of Pay order/Banker's cheque/Demand Draft in favour of Finance Officer, JNU. No quotation will be entertained without earnest money.
6. Time allowed for completion of above work is 15 days.
7. The firm has to produce attested copies of all relevant documents such as PAN no., TIN no., Dealership Certificate etc. along with quotation.
8. No extra cartage will be paid.
9. Payment shall be made after satisfactory completion of the work.
10. Contractor shall have to give guarantee/waranty of all equipments as per manufacturer.

Name of Work: Providing and fixing M.S. ladder covering with fibre sheet for approach to Faculty Recharge, CRS, JNU.

Conditions:-

1. The quotation for the work/supply shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of opening of quotations.
2. The work shall be done as per CPWD specifications 2009 described specifications with up to date correction slips and to the entire satisfaction of Engineering-in-charge.
3. Income Tax and Works Contract Tax would be deducted as per rules wherever applicable.
4. The contractor should quote rate after inspecting nature of work required to be done at sites.
5. The contractor shall arrange all the materials required for the work.
6. All building rubbish/malba shall be disposed off at specified Govt. dumping ground beyond JNU limits by mechanical transport including loading/unloading etc. as complete.
7. Earnest Money Amounting to Rs.1824/- should be deposited in the shape of Pay order/Banker's cheque/Demand Draft in favour of Finance Officer, JNU. No quotation will be entertained without earnest money.
8. Time allowed for completion of above work is 1 month.
9. The contractor should make his own arrangement for water and electricity, if contractor shall use water and electricity of the department 1% charges will be deducted from his gross amount of the bill.
10. No labour hutments shall be allowed.
11. Any misprinting or clerical mistake shall be treated governed as per DSR 2012.
12. Watch and ward of the materials brought/work done will be responsibility of the contractor till the work is completed and handed over to the JNU.
13. The firm has to produce attested copies of all relevant documents such as Registration, PAN no., TIN no. & experience certificate etc. along with quotation in a separate envelope.

BSL3- Annual Maintenance Contract (2013-2014)

Jawaharlal Nehru University invites sealed tenders from well-versed and well-experienced firms/companies for the Operation and maintenance of the BSL-3 lab along with research lab. The above facility has a working area of ~315 m2 including plant room, wash room and corridor. Click for general description of work schedule.

TENDER DOCUMENT FOR HIRING A SECURITY AGENCY

Sealed tenders are hereby invited on behalf of the Jawaharlal Nehru University to hire a reputed Security Agency having a minimum of 5 years experience of providing security services to a University/Comparable Educational Institution of repute. The Agency shall provide personnel for round the clock watch and ward duties in the one thousand acre campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

Prescribed tender form can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Registrar (Admin), Room No. 305, Administrative Block of the University from 01.05.2013 to 01.06.2013 between 09.30 A.M. to 03.00 P.M on all working days on payment of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) in the form of a Demand Draft (non-refundable) payable to the Finance Officer, JNU. A non-refundable fee of Rs.1000/- shall be submitted at the time of submission of downloaded tender document.

Duly completed Tender Form along with the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) through Bankers cheque/Demand Draft, in favour of Finance Officer, JNU, New Delhi, payable at Delhi should reach the Deputy Registrar, Room No.305, Administrative Block, JNU on or before 03.30 p.m. on 01.06.2013. Tender bids that are not accompanied by the Banker's Cheque/Demand Draft, will be summarily rejected. The said Earnest Money will only be paid in the manner and mode prescribed and Cheques, Money Orders etc., shall not be accepted for payment towards Earnest Money.

Besides the Earnest Money of Rs. 10,00,000/-(Rupees Ten Lakhs only), the Agency will also be required to provide a Bank Guarantee of Rs.50,00,000/- (Rupees Fifty Lakhs only) upon award of contract through a nationalized bank.
