Jawaharlal Nehru University invites sealed tenders from well-versed and well-experienced firms/companies for the Operation and maintenance of the BSL-3 lab along with research lab. The above facility has a working area of ~315 m2 including plant room, wash room and corridor. Click for general description of work schedule.

The Technical & Commercial bids shall be placed in separate sealed envelopes, each marked as "Technical" and "Commercial Bid", respectively. Both the envelopes shall be submitted together in another sealed envelope with "OMC" Operation and Maintenance of BSL-3 set-up at JNU, New Delhi clearly written on the envelope. Sealed tenders are invited from Registered vendors having PAN Number Service Tax registration no. etc. for hiring of DLY taxies for use by the Schools/Departments of the University in two bids; i.e. (1) Technical Bid stating the number of cars in the name of company alongwith attested photocopies of Regn.   1.   7. Acceptance or rejection of quotations will finally rest with the University. The University reserves the right to reject any or all the quotations received without assigning any reason.
  8. In case of any dispute between the university and the contractor, the matter will referred to the arbitrator appointed by the Vice- Chancellor of the University and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on both the parties.

TENDER DOCUMENT FOR HIRING A SECURITY AGENCY

Sealed tenders are hereby invited on behalf of the Jawaharlal Nehru University to hire a reputed Security Agency having a minimum of 5 years experience of providing security services to a University/Comparable Educational Institution of repute. The Agency shall provide personnel for round the clock watch and ward duties in the one thousand acre campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

Prescribed tender form can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Registrar (Admin), Room No. 305, Administrative Block of the University from 01.05.2013 to 01.06.2013 between 09.30 A.M. to 03.00 P.M on all working days on payment of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) in the form of a Demand Draft (non-refundable) payable to the Finance Officer, JNU. A non-refundable fee of Rs.1000/- shall be submitted at the time of submission of downloaded tender document.

Duly completed Tender Form along with the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) through Bankers cheque/Demand Draft, in favour of Finance Officer, JNU, New Delhi, payable at Delhi should reach the Deputy Registrar, Room No.305, Administrative Block, JNU on or before 03.30 p.m. on 01.06.2013. Tender bids that are not accompanied by the Banker's Cheque/Demand Draft, will be summarily rejected. The said Earnest Money will only be paid in the manner and mode prescribed and Cheques, Money Orders etc., shall not be accepted for payment towards Earnest Money.

Besides the Earnest Money of Rs. 10,00,000/-(Rupees Ten Lakhs only), the Agency will also be required to provide a Bank Guarantee of Rs.50,00,000/- (Rupees Fifty Lakhs only) upon award of contract through a nationalized bank.
