Notice Inviting Tender for hiring of DLY taxies

Sealed tenders are invited from Registered vendors having PAN Number Service Tax registration no. etc. for hiring of DLY taxies for use by the Schools/Departments of the University in two bids; i.e. (1) Technical Bid stating the number of cars in the name of company alongwith attested photocopies of Regn. Certificate, latest Insurance Certificate, Pollution Certificate etc. alongwith description of car available with the vendor, experience of the company, address etc. (Annexure-I) and (2) Commercial Bid stating the rates for various utilizations in the chart provided in the tender document (Annexure-II).

Bid Security/EMD for Rs. 20,000 is payable through Banker's Cheque/Demand Draft in favour of 'Finance Officer', JNU and should be mandatorily put in the envelope containing technical bid in absence of which bids will not be accepted. This EMD amount will be returned to unsuccessful bidders at the earliest as per extant rule.
Successful bidder will be required to deposit performance security @5% of the amount of the equipment.
Bidders are also required to enclose copies of PAN No., TIN No., Service Tax No., Valid certificate of authorization in case of authorized distributors and list of users with proof of installation and post-sales service without which the quotations shall not be considered.
Acceptance or rejection of quotations will finally rest with the University. The University reserves the right to reject any or all the quotations received without assigning any reason.
In case of any dispute between the university and the contractor, the matter will referred to the arbitrator appointed by the Vice- Chancellor of the University and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on both the parties.

TENDER DOCUMENT FOR HIRING A SECURITY AGENCY

Sealed tenders are hereby invited on behalf of the Jawaharlal Nehru University to hire a reputed Security Agency having a minimum of 5 years experience of providing security services to a University/Comparable Educational Institution of repute. The Agency shall provide personnel for round the clock watch and ward duties in the one thousand acre campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

Prescribed tender form can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Registrar (Admin), Room No. 305, Administrative Block of the University from 01.05.2013 to 01.06.2013 between 09.30 A.M. to 03.00 P.M on all working days on payment of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) in the form of a Demand Draft (non-refundable) payable to the Finance Officer, JNU. A non-refundable fee of Rs.1000/- shall be submitted at the time of submission of downloaded tender document.

Duly completed Tender Form along with the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) through Bankers cheque/Demand Draft, in favour of Finance Officer, JNU, New Delhi, payable at Delhi should reach the Deputy Registrar, Room No.305, Administrative Block, JNU on or before 03.30 p.m. on 01.06.2013.
