To develop a coherent database on the traditional knowledge systems (TKS) inclusive of farming and traditional health-care systems of the Himalayan region and linking it with the formal knowledge system (FKS) for community participation in climate change adaptation and mitigation is one of the key objectives of the NMSHE.
