Zhang Shulan got her Ph.D. Degree in “Historical Development of South Asia” from History Department of Peking University. She is an Associate Professor of School of Political Science and Public Administration, Shandong University. She is a member of Chinese Federation of South Asian Studies, a researcher of Key Institute of Contemporary Socialism, Chinese Ministry of Education, and a researcher of Institute of Environmental Politics, Shandong University. She is also an editor of the Chinese Core Journal “Issues of Contemporary World Socialism”. She is a Senior Associate Membership of St Antony’s College, Oxford University，UK, from 1st October, 2006 to 30th September, 2007. She is now on an Asia Fellowship, as a Visiting Scholar at Center for East Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. She has been teaching the courses of modern and contemporary world history, history of international relations and the historical development of the Third World for B.A students, issues of modern and contemporary international relations and issues of South Asian political economy for Master students. She has published one monograph, some articles in Chinese Core Journals, also has translated one English book and several English articles into Chinese. |
