The Centre for International Trade and Development (CITD) at the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, is a premier economics department in India with a special focus on the International Economy and Economic Development. The Centre offers three programs in Economics: MA in Economics (with specialization in World Economy), MPhil in International Trade & Development and PhD in Economics.
The faculty is committed to the advancement of economics as a discipline. It is actively engaged in research covering a wide range of areas in economics, and has published several books and articles in ranked journals.
