Applications are invited for the position of ONE Project Research Scientist -I (Non-Medical) in the ICMR funded project entitled “Carbon Nanodots as trackable theranostic platform for dual/triple drug delivery and their synergism with efflux pump inhibitors against Mycobacterium tuberculosis.”

POSITION: Project Research Scientist -I (Non-Medical)
Essential qualification:
1. First Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degree in any stream of Biological Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Environmental Sciences/ Relevant Subjects.
OR
2. Second Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degree with PhD in any stream of Biological Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Environmental Sciences/ Nanoscience/ Relevant Subjects.
OR
3. For Engineering-First class graduate degree of four years in Biotechnology or Relevant Subject.
Desirable:
1. Research publications in the relevant field.
2. Knowledge of working in Infectious Diseases (Bacterial/ Fungal), Antimicrobial Compounds and Nanotechnology/ Nanomedicine/ Nanobiotechnology.
Candidates should submit a brief (about 1 page) summary of their research work and a copy of their detailed CV (with names and e. mail contacts of three referees) along with the application in hard copy.
Salary: As per ICMR norms (INR 56000 p.m. plus HRA as permissible).
The position is co-terminus with the project. The selected candidate will be appointed purely on temporary basis, initially for one year that may be extended based on the satisfactory performance on yearly basis till the completion of project.
