<strong>School of Computer &amp; Systems Sciences Jawaharlal Nehru University</strong> a Special lecture on <strong>Machine learning in fMRI analysis methods and scientific research on Yoga</strong> By <strong>Prof. Rahul Garg</strong> Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT-Delhi <strong>Abstract :&nbsp;</strong>In this talk He will provide an overview of the research activities being carried out in Yoga and Neuroimaging Lab at IIT Delhi. These include some recent results that they obtained on an ancient yogic practice called Yoga nidra, advancement in fMRI data analysis using the technique of inter-subject correlation and matrix factorization, full brain autoregressive modeling and Perceptual clustering of images using fMRI BOLD response. <strong>Brief Biography:&nbsp;</strong>Prof. Rahul Garg has joined IIT-Delhi, Department of Computer Science and Engineering after working in the Industry in India and USA for over 15 years. His current research interest are Neuroimaging, Scientific Analysis of Yogic Practices, Computational Sanskrit Linguistics, Machine Learning and Big Data Analytics. In the past he has worked on areas of Supercomputing, Electronic Commerce, Algorithemic Game Theory and Communications Networks. He has over 50 publications in international conference and journals and over 15 US patents in these areas. He holds a PhD from IIT-Delhi, MS from University of California at Berkeley and B.Tech. from IIT-Delhi. <strong>Date: November 03, 2016</strong>
