One Research Associate (RA) position is available in DBT sponsored project on: "Immunotherapeutic activities of nano-curcumin in tuberculosis therapy"
Qualifications for Research Associates:
Education:- Ph.D in Immunology/Host Pathogen Interaction with strong background in T cell biology. Candidates who have submitted their thesis can also apply provided they have good track record with publications in peer reviewed journals.
Attributes and Skillset:- Expertise with at least 3 years of experience of working in a BSL3 laboratory. Handling murine models of tuberculosis (including knockout colonies). Primary cell cultures and flow cytometry based immune-monitoring. Human sample handling with experience in handling virulent strains of M.tb including Drug resistant strains like MDR TB and XDR TB .
Fellowship:- According to DBT/DST rules
Tenure: The position is purely temporary, renewable after one year and will continue until September 2017 (the end of project) based on satisfactory performance.
