Meeting of the Sanskrit and Science Forum

<strong>Special Center for Sanskrit Studies Jawaharlal Nehru University</strong> organised <strong>Meeting of the Sanskrit and Science Forum</strong> Date: <strong>Friday, 8th April, 2016</strong> The Sanskrit center is organizing an informal meeting on Friday, 8th April at 4pm to discuss possible collaboration for exploring scientific concepts in ancient Sanskrit texts. The goal is to get JNU faculty with similar interests to work together on Sanskrit texts and evolve a Trans-disciplinary Research Cluster (TRC) in JNU called "TRC in Integrative Sciences". In our first brainstorming meeting on 15/4/2015, we got some excellent suggestions and one of them was to broad base the initiative. In this second meeting therefore, we are trying to include all those JNU colleagues who work in an area of science/social science/humanities and may have some connection with or interest in ancient knowledge texts of India.
