Applications are invited for the post of Project Research Scientist -I for a ICMR funded project entitled “Functional Characterization of newly identified modular rhodopsin for Development of novel Optogenetics tools for Deciphering molecular mechanistic off amyloid conversion and propagation” at School of Biotechnology, JNU. The selected candidate will be appointed till the duration of project.
Position: One Post Only
Essential Qualification: Candidate must have Ph.D. degree in Life Science/ Biotechnology or Biology related subject with strong academic record.
Desirable: Candidate may have knowledge of algal biology/cell biology/electrophysiology /molecular biology and relevant lab experience.
Salary: As per the norms of the University and funding agency.
Appointment will be made purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. The eligible candidates may further be shortlisted based on qualification/experience depending on the number of applicants. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
