The programme offers specialization across diverse areas of Management studies, viz. Human Resource Management, Management, Commerce, Economics and Computer Science. The programme emphasizes a rigorous curriculum combining advanced research methodology, theoretical foundations, and empirical inquiry.

PhD scholars are mentored by accomplished faculty with strong academic and industry experience. The students are encouraged to publish in high-quality journals, present research papers in international conferences/seminars, and engage with policy-makers and industry stakeholders. This programme aims to train scholars who would contribute meaningfully to academic and research in management and policymaking and in shaping knowledge in leadership for a sustainable and inclusive growth.

Eligibility:

• MBA/Master's Degree in Management/Human Resource Management/Commerce/Economics/Computer Science with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.

OR

• A candidate seeking admission after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor's degree programme in Management or in a relevant discipline (stated above) should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.

Relaxation: Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/PWD/EWS as per the UGC Regulations 2022.

Through UGC-JRF in Management/Human Resource Management/Commerce/Economics/Computer Science.

All the JRF qualified candidates in the desired field will be called for Interview and final selection shall be done on the basis of marks secured in the Interview.

The process for admission to Ph.D. programme in management will be the same as per other Ph.D. programme offered by the University.

• GMAT Score (minimum 550) and MBA/Master's Degree in Management or in a relevant discipline (Human Resource Management/Commerce/Economics/Computer Science).
