NAMASTE Governor Acharya Award in the name of freedom fighters of NE India

1. The Fourth Annual NAMASTE Governor Acharya awards 2024 was organised on December 20, 2024 by Special Centre for the Study of North East India. The Guest of Honour Dr. Samudra Gupta Kashyap, Chancellor, Nagaland University delivered the lecture on this occasion and it was Chaired by Prof. Dipendra Nath Das, Rector-II, JNU.

2. Annual NAMASTE Governor Acharya awards 2020 Chief Guest Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan SinghHon’ble Minister of State for Education & Minister of State for External Affairs, Govt. of India ON 13.01.2022.

3. The Second Namaste Governor Acharya Awards in the honour of Freedom Fighters of North East India was organized on 30.12.2020. Sh. P B Acharya, Ex. Governor of Nagaland was the Chief Guest and Sh. Mohandas Pai, Chairman of Manipal Global Education was the Guest of Honor of the Award ceremony.

4. The NAMASTE Governor Acharya Award function, 2018, was held on 15th March, 2019. Hon’ble Governor Shri P.B. Acharya inaugurated the function. Certificates and Mementoes were given to research scholars from the University who had done work on North East India.
