Presently, the SCSNEI library contains a modest collection of books and materials on North East India covering various themes and disciplines. The library is open for consultation on all working days.

 

Archive and Documentation
SCSNEI plans to set up an Archive and Documentation unit. The Archive and Documentation unit will make available important resources for researchers working on North East India and its neighbouring areas. The resources will comprise of private papers, visual and audio-visual materials, reports and data bank of resources, which scholars can consult as part of their research on North East India and its neighbouring areas.
