Complete Registration Process
Step-by-Step Registration Guide
* Go to the Administration Building and show your admission letter. Your documents will be verified there and you'll get a slip for tuition fee payment at Finance Section Room No. 13.
* Note: Tuition fee payment timing is 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. ICCR scholars must only ask for receipt and contact ICCR for admission fees.
* Return to Room No. 20, show fee receipt, collect folios, fill them, and get them signed. Two folios will be collected there.
* Apply for hostel at Dean of Students (DOS). Girls applying for Yamuna Hostel (single rooms) must write to VC; others can directly apply. Hostel allotment takes 3–5 days.
* Go to your School/Center, choose courses, and get signatures from Administrative Officer (A.O.) and your supervisor/chairperson.
* Register at Library, submit documents, and get your Library ID and Internet Access number.
* Collect University ID card from your school's A.O.
* Submit Add/Drop folios for optional courses within the prescribed deadline.

* Passport with Student/Research Visa
* Original Degree Certificate (with English Translation if needed)
* Letter from your home university/embassy
* Letter from scholarship institution (if applicable)
* Health Certificate (home country or Delhi hospital)
* 20 passport photographs
* Money for tuition fee and hostel registration
* Photocopies of all documents
* Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO)
FRRO Registration
All foreign nationals must register at FRRO Delhi within 14 days of arrival (after registering at JNU). Documents required include:
* Bonafide certificate from JNU
* University ID number
* Residence proof
* Passport and visa
* Admission copy
* Photocopies of all documents with photos
* FRRO form (available on FRRO website)
