Advertisement for recruitment of Research Assistant (1) and Field Investigators (2)
Applications are invited under ICSSR- Major Research Project on “Social and Political Thought of Ahilya Bai Holkar: A Study of the Life and Work” for the following positions purely on temporary basis:
Research Assistant (1) - 15 months or till his/her services are required by the Project Director (include 3 months’ probation)
Field Investigators (2) - Initially for a period of 6 months, extendable as per the requirement of the project based on performance (includes 1 month probation)
Essential qualification for Research Assistant: Postgraduate in any social science discipline with minimum 55% marks and NET/SLET/M.Phil /Ph.D. Candidate with prior knowledge in conducting archival work and fluent in Marathi, Hindi and English will be given preference. Basic knowledge of Modi script will be an advantage. The candidate must be below 40 years of age.
Essential qualification for Field Investigators (2): Postgraduate in any social science discipline with minimum 55% marks. Candidate with prior knowledge in conducting archival work with advance knowledge of Modi script and/or stenography will be given preference.
Remuneration: Research Assistant @37000/- p.m.
Field Investigator @ 20000/- p.m.
