Inter Hall Administration (IHA) The Inter Hall Administration (IHA) is responsible for the management of hostel facilities, encompassing the entire hostel allocation process and the facilitation of FRRO registration.
Hostel Warden System Each hostel is administered by a team of four wardens responsible for addressing all matters related to accommodation, maintenance, sanitation, mess facilities, and other associated concerns.
1. Senior Warden - Chief executive for welfare, discipline, mess, security etc. Also usually handles Administration portfolio.
2. Warden (Mess) - Looks after hostel mess affairs: quality, bills, service etc.
3. Warden (Health & Recreation) - Responsible for health, hygienic living, and the recreational/common room activities.
Student Representation Hostel President: Elected by residents of each hostel/wing, serving as the liaison between students and the administration.
Hostel Student Committee: Presidents and other student representatives to raise and address student queries, feedback, issues, and represent in IHA meetings.
Health Centre Services The Health Centre provides comprehensive healthcare services including preventive, curative, and promotive services exclusively for students. Additionally, a CGHS dispensary caters to the needs of University employees.
Pharmacy: Free medicines for students; emergency meds, injections, first-aid included.
Ambulance Services: Available 24-hours (ICU ambulance + patient transport vehicle).
Routine Services: Immunization (tetanus), medical examinations for academic purposes.
Health Card / ID Booklet Students must register for OPD services by submitting their student semester folio, photograph and other required documents to obtain their health card for accessing medical services.
Location The University Health Centre (UHC) is situated approximately 300 meters from the North Gate, to the southwest of Ganga Hostel.
