Applications are invited for a temporary position of Project Assistant (ONE Post) in a DBT funded project on developing AI tools/methods with oral cancer data. The details are provided below.
Essential Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Sciences or 3 years Diploma in Engineering & Technology.
Preference : B.Tech. and/or Master’s in analytical sciences is preferred with experience with biological data.
Desirable: Candidate should be familiar with, and be passionate about Data Science and Biological Data. It is not required for the candidate to understand Biology or be someone with a background/degree in Biology/Biotechnology/ Life Science/related area but the candidate needs to be analytical minded, and should be willing to work independently and with biological data. Prior experience in using biological data, analytical tools and working with data-related methods and AI tools and framework is a definite plus. The position does not require conducting experiments in the lab.
Consolidated fixed emoluments per month: 20,000/- + HRA as per Govt. rule.
Age Limit: 50 years

Duration of appointment Till 7th Nov 2026 subject to approval of the competent authority and satisfactory progress during the project. The project may get extended further, if approved, at a later date.
Nature of appointment: Temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Mode of selection: Candidates will be shortlisted based on qualification and prior experience on data science followed by personal interview online. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated via e-mail to appear in the online interview.
