Applications are invited from sincere, motivated, and hardworking individuals for a position in the DST-funded project titled: "Stochastic Thermodynamics and Optimal Control of Active Matter Systems” (Reference Number: IFA-20 PH-251)
The position is purely temporary and will be filled as per the rules and regulations of the university and funding agency initially for three months.
Position: Project Assistant / Project Staff (1)
Qualifications & Experience:
Applicants should have a consistently good academic record with a Master’s degree in any Science discipline
M.Sc in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Bioinformatics/Biophysics or allied basic and inter-disciplinary science subjects.
Essential:
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python/C)
• Good understanding of statistical mechanics and dynamical systems
Desirable:
• Prior experience in simulations or modeling of stochastic or active systems
• Familiarity with computational techniques in soft matter physics
Salary: As per DST norms and university rules.
