Applications are invited from eligible candidates for one temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Associate/Project Asst. in the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), New Delhi sponsored research project File No. EEQ/2023/001057 under the supervision of Dr. L Raju Chowhan, Associate Professor, School of Physical Sciences, JNU New Delhi. The details of the project, qualifications, fellowship amount etc., are the following:
Title of the project: Protecting Group Free Asymmetric Synthesis of Diplobifuranylone A-C and Organocatalytic Asymmetric Cycloaddition Reaction of N, N’-Cyclic Azomethine Imines
Duration of the project: Three years (Till February 2027)
Manpower Position: JRF/Project Associate/Project Asst. (One)
Fellowship amount: Rs.37000/- (for first two years), Rs. 42000/- (for the third year) + 24% HRA
Eligibility requirements: M.Sc. (Chemistry) (Minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA and passed),
Desirable: Qualified CSIR-UGC JRF/NET or GATE, Specialization in synthetic organic chemistry, Data analysis and interpretations. Candidate with experience will be preferred.
Age limit: Maximum 28 years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped).

Terms and conditions
• The shortlisted candidates will be called to appear in the online interview. The information of the interview will be communicated through the email provided in the application.
• The appointed candidate is expected to continue in the lab for the entire duration.
• The appointment will be purely on a contractual basis; initially, the offer will be for one year, and based on the performance, it will be extended. If performance is not satisfactory, the offer will be terminated.
• The selected candidate will work on the project mentioned above and on any other official work that may be assigned by the PI from time to time.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Merely fulfilling the minimum eligibility doesn’t guarantee the interview call/selection.
