Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the positions of Field Investigator (04), Part Time Project Support Staff (2) in research project titled “Sanskriti (Culture)-Prakriti (Nature)-Krishi (Agriculture)-Continuum: Culture and Ecology in the Nature and Harvest Festivals of Eastern India, a Major project funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) under the supervision of Dr. Brahma Prakash Singh (project director), Assistant Professor, School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067.

The details of the positions, monthly remuneration, qualification etc. are given below;

Field Investigator for Jharkhand	01	INR 20000/-p.m	Essential Qualification: Post graduate in humanities or allied social science discipline with minimum 55% marks Desirable qualification: Knowledge of local language and culture of Jharkhand, fieldwork experience in data collection and elicitation
3.	Field Investigator for Odisha	01	INR 20000/-p.m	Essential Qualification: Post graduate in humanities or allied social science discipline with minimum 55% marks Desirable qualification: Knowledge of local language and culture of Odisha, fieldwork experience in data collection and elicitation
4.	Part Time Project support staff-1	01	INR 8000/-p.m.	Master degree in any discipline Desirable Qualification: File management
5.	Part Time Project Staff-2	01	INR 8000/-p.m.	Master Degree in any discipline Desirable Qualification: Data management, video editing, experiences in digital media

Kindly note:
1. Candidates will be shortlisted based on qualification and suitability for the project. Only the short-listed candidates will be called for the interview.
2. Date, Time and Place of the interview will be informed only to the shortlisted candidates.
3. Interview will take place through hybrid mode (Online/offline). For Online interview, link will be shared before the interview. For offline interview place, date and time will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates a week in advance.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
5. The Selected candidates will be appointed purely on temporary basis for 3 months (extendable to the duration of the project depending upon the performance of the selected candidate for the respective post) or till his/her services are required by the principal investigator.
6. The number of project staff positions are provisional and subject to change depending upon the requirement of the project.
7. Project Staff will be engaged/appointed as per the rules and guidelines of ICSSR and Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
