Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following positions in ICSSR sponsored Major Research Project titled “The Literature and Culture around Student and Youth Movements in India and Latin America in 20th and 21st Century” under the supervision of Dr. Lovey Srivastava (Principal Investigator), Assistant Professor, CSPILAS, SLL&CS, JNU, New Delhi – 110067.

PhD in Social Science and Humanities (preferably in Political Science, Media Studies, Cultural Studies or Sociology) with a minimum of 55% marks in MA and 2 years’ experience of teaching or research. |

Postgraduate degree in Social Science discipline (preferably Master’s in Political Science, Media Studies, Language, Literature, or Sociology) with a minimum of 55% marks and NET/M. Phil/Ph.D. |

Postgraduate degree in Social Science and Humanities (preferably Master’s in Political Science, Media Studies, Language, Literature, or Sociology) with a minimum of 55% marks. |

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and experience of working in academic institutions. |

Please note:
1. Candidates will be shortlisted based on qualification and suitability for the project. Only the short-listed candidates will be called for the interview.
2. Date and time of the interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates.
3. Interview will take place through online mode only. Link will be shared before the interview.
4. The selected candidates will be appointed purely on temporary basis (extendable to the duration of the project depending upon the performance of the selected candidate for the respective post) or till his/her services are required by the Project Director.
5. The number of project staff positions are provisional and subject to change depending upon the requirement of the project.
6. Candidates applying for one position should not apply for any other position.
7. Project staff will be engaged/appointed as per the rules and guidelines of the ICSSR and JNU, New Delhi.
