The Centre for the Study of Regional Development, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, invites applications for the following project staff position under the ICSSR-NSTC (Taiwan) Joint Research Programme entitled: “Understanding People's Adaptation to the post-COVID-19 in Time and Space: Comparing Urban Resilience in India and Taiwan" This position is purely temporary and may be extended based on the requirements of the project and the candidate’s performance. Qualifications and remuneration are as per ICSSR guidelines.

Position 1: Research Assistant (01 Post)
• Duration: 6 months (extendable by another 6-8 months, subject to performance of the candidate and availability of funds)
• Essential Qualification:
o Postgraduate in any social science discipline (55% minimum) with NET /M.Phil. / Ph.D.
• Desirable Qualification:
o Research experience in the field of Geography/ Demography/Urban and Regional Planning/Social Epidemiology/Public Health/Biostatistics/Geoinformatics/Disaster Management/Development Studies/Application of RS/GIS/Stata/SPSS.
o Research publication in a peer-reviewed/Scopus-indexed journal/book.
o Experience of working on an ICSSR-funded project
• Remuneration: ₹37,000/- per month (consolidated)
