Applications are invited for the position of Field Investigator in the ICSSR (Indian Council of Social Science Research) funded project “The Role of Fests in Shaping of Spiritual and Cultural Nationalism of Bharat: A Study of Kumbha and Magh Mela (Prayagraj, Haridwar, Ujjain and Nashik)”.

Name of the Position: Field Investigator -02

Essential Qualification: Post-graduate in the Social Science discipline (55%)

Desirable Qualification: Candidate with adequate skills and prior experience in field survey, data collection, and data organization.

Salary: 20,000/- per month

*Selected field investigators will have to visit to do field work in Ujjain, Haridwar and Nasik

*Tenure: Initial appointment tenure, as decided by the competent authority, may be curtailed/extended based on assessment of the candidate's performance and project funding availability, and it is at the discretion of the Competent Authority. SIS/JNU reserves the right to select candidates for the above posts based on their qualifications and experience. The appointment may be terminated at any time by giving one month's notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim, whether implicit or explicit, for consideration for any regular position at the University.
