Target audience:

Science graduates and users of laboratory animals

Eligibility:

Those who have completed or are enrolled in degrees - BV.Sc, MV.Sc, BSc, MSc and other post-graduate subjects in science stream or private industry where laboratory animals are employed

The course is intensive* and includes:

(a) 11 days of trainer/teacher contact

(b) 60 hours of teaching (classroom + practical)

(c) Field visits for 1 day

(d) 1day group discussion tutorial on topics to be given to each group

*Compared to this, a 3-credit course in JNU, which is defined as 3 theory lectures of 1-hour duration each and 1 tutorial class of 1-hour duration, per week, in the semester, adds up to a maximum of 50 lectures
